| | 1/5/2012 | Expressions of Largo - A Celebration of the Arts
Congratulations to the Largo High School Fine Arts teachers and students for a successful Expressions of Largo festival. Every two years, our high school hosts Largo's middle school and our feeder elementary schools (Anona, Ponce de Leon, Mildred Helms, Fuguitt, Ridgecrest, and Southern Oak) in a celebration of the arts and music. This year’s art exhibition featured artwork from students of all levels, plus an art raffle, opportunities for spectators to be photographed as Mona Lisa, and musical entertainment from our Madrigal singers. Following the art show, the elementary, middle, and high school students performed an instrumental and choral concert to a standing room only audience. The event showcased the talents of our students, the passion and dedication of our teachers, and our community’s support and commitment to the arts.
